The Supremacy? Clause.

Our founding fathers established a REPUBLIC and not a Dictatorship. They did not want to re-create a Monarchy nor establish an other oppressive government. That's why they based their government on the Roman-Republican system of government, not on the Anglo-Saxon which they had just replaced, although most of the laws were based on the Anglo-Saxon laws. So we have the Senate, the same as the one instituted by the ancient Italians, the Romans, the Governors, the Municipal authorities and so on as the Romans.
Therefore,on paper, at least, we have a Republic which is a Superior form of Government than the Democracy.
In a Republic there is no Supremacy within the powers of the Government as the Government exist for serving the will of the people only, and not to advance or impose it's will on the people. This is Dictatorship...which we have today in the United States of America.
At this point in history, the Federal Government (Congress) would like us to believe if they decide that something is of a Federal interest (can be everything),or if they want to assume jurisdiction over acts which are under States Rights jurisdiction, they can do it if they choose to do so.
There is no such power in the United States Constitution. In addition, any imaginary powers which Congress thinks that the Constitution grants them, but are not enumerated in it,are in fact all nullified,pre-emptied and forever foreclosed by the subsequent passage of The Amendments to the Constitution (known as The Bill of Rights).
This Amendment to the Constitution passed long after the ratification of the initial Constitution grants additional powers to the States and the People of each State and limits the power of Congress.
However, the evil Federal Courts have allowed the Federal Government to continue to usurp powers not granted to them and to pass unconstitutional laws based on this tyranny: decisions, forcing States to adopt Federal rule over everything, charging States Police Officers for civil rights violation even when acquitted by States Courts and the list goes on and on. These impositions are what makes people upset.
